Newly built in 2000, this gorgeous vacation home comfortably accommodates up to seven people. The master bedroom is outfitted with a queen-size custom made log bed, a master bath with large jet tub, and an exquisite view of the bay. A massive stone fireplace sets the tone for the tastefully decorated living area, featuring a separate dining area and complete kitchen. A spiral staircase leads up to the cozy loft and its excellent view of the bay. The full length bay windows overlook Lake Huron, numerous islands and Canada. For those relaxing summer nights, sit on the large deck with a built-in gas grill, and comfortable patio furniture… perfect to watch the sunset! Or enjoy the view from the screened-in porch. The second bedroom also has a beautiful custom made rustic bed, and a lake view. The third bedroom has a bunkbed with a double on the bottom. A perfect place to relax while enjoying privacy and nature’s beauty. As a bonus, Island Retreat offers 200 movies to choose from! NOW WITH INTERNET/WIFI! In June 2021, a propane firepit on the deck by the water was added. NOTE: As of June 2020, I have just installed a new furnace with an attached REME HALO, which is designed to eliminate sick building syndrome risks by reducing odors, air pollutants, chemical odors, smoke, mold, bacteria and VIRUSES. In June 2021, House is installed with one ActivePure Air & Surface Pro, developed by NASA and in the Space Hall of Fame, it is the most powerful and proven air and surface purification technology ever discovered!
Rental weeks in summer will now be from Sunday to Sunday! THERE IS A ONE-WEEK MINIMUM FROM LATE JUNE THROUGH EARLY SEPTEMBER. THERE IS A TWO-NIGHT MINIMUM DURING THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR. It was an amazing place for "base camp" to explore the island. We comfortably fit 7 adults in the living space for a few meals. Convenient location to the four-corners area of Drummond. Beautiful views of the sunset and some freighters were visable as well. Wonderful sound of waves!!

Water was so crisp and clean a clear. Just beautiful. Scenery was amazing and the views were absolutely gorgeous. Very relaxing vacation that was much needed. Wish we didn’t have to leave it. Shoal beach was great and peaceful and serene. We got a lot of great pics. The rocks and the pine trees make the scenery spectacular around the water.
